Lanner briquetting presses are compact and robust, plug-in operated and can be put into operation in the shortest possible time. They guarantee a consistently high briquetting quality - you will be surprised by their quiet and smooth operation. Briquetting presses not only reduce the volume of metal fragments or grinding sludge, but also reduce storage and transport costs. Due to the high compression of the stable briquettes, the value of the material is increased and even the last drop of coolant can be recovered.
Working principle of briquetting machine
The metal chips are pushed to the pre-pressing chamber by the feeding screw of the briquetting machine. The pre-pressing die driven by the hydraulic cylinder pre-presses the wet chips. Then the main hydraulic cylinder pushes the main pressing die to squeeze the pre-pressed chips with high pressure. The wet chips are separated from the cutting fluid here and the chips are compressed into high-density chip blocks. The reversing mechanism shifts the briquetting laterally, and the push rod discharges the briquetting out of the briquetting machine.
